Italian celebrations

The streets of Urbino, Italy were pulsing with a celebration acknowledging Italy becoming a Republic and women gaining the right to vote in 1946. Urbino is a small University town lined with cobbled streets and cafes serving up creamy, delectable cappuccinos that are always accompanied by the tiniest of spoons.

I studied abroad for a month here to complete a an international multimedia reporting course. We took hundreds of photos a day and learned powerful visual storytelling skills. I reported on the disappearing bees – check it out here.
