Mu Law is a refugee from Burma. She takes a community member to a hearing appointment, voluntarily. Mu Law does this despite a hectic schedule working as an interpreter and translator, and raising her two, young daughters. Most refugees from Burma fill every possible hour with activities to assimilate to the U.S., including making it to ESL classes while working full-time at meat packing plants and raising families. The perseverance shown is striking, and admirable.
